Root System:
design thinking
design thinking
Every resource on this site starts as a decision, not a finished product. A unit doesn't arrive fully formed; it's built to solve a specific problem, tested against real constraints, and revised when something doesn't work.
This section is where that thinking becomes visible. Each case study below walks through a project the way it was actually designed: the problem it responds to, the choices made and why, the obstacles that shaped the final version, and what came of it.
Design happens in two directions here. Some of it is built for students, classroom experiences meant to deepen how they think and engage. Some of it is built for adults, programs meant to help educators grow alongside the people they teach. Both require the same kind of scrutiny: a clear problem, a defensible structure, and honesty about what didn't go according to plan.
